To reach Sunday drive from City of San Jose via San Isidro de General on the Talamanca Mountains can be reached via the coastal highway from Quepos through the Hacienda Baru village.
With near perfect weather all year, Dominical has warm temperatures during the day and a cool breeze from the sea at night. Many of the surfers who come tend to sleep on the beach under the stars.
